All Courses Are Run Solely On A Donation Basis.
All expenses are met by donations from OLD STUDENTS ONLY, those who have completed a course and experienced the benefits of Vipassana, and wish to give others the same opportunity.
Neither the Teacher nor the assistant teachers receive remuneration; they and those who serve the courses volunteer their time. Thus, the spread of Dhamma is carried out with purity of purpose, free from any commercialism.
With the generous support from old students, Dhamma Phala Vipassana Philippines was able to purchase a 3 hectare property wherein the first permanent center in the country will be built. Plans are underway for the center construction in Tiaong, Quezon.
Help spread the Dhamma in the Philippines.
Help build a permanent Vipassana Center here in the Philippines
First of all, we would like to thank an old student for providing a temporary shelter for us. You may be aware that we have been searching for a permanent place for almost 10 years now and finally, we have found our final destination.
From our old home, we are moving to Tiaong, Quezon, a two and a half hour drive from Manila. Being a former clinic, the place already has 2 large nipa huts, each with 4 rooms and a bathroom, one solid house, and a dedicated water tower. Water and electricity are readily available, and trees can be found around the area as they provide ample shade and produce a pleasant atmosphere.
Please to have you informed, all the expenses of Dhamma Phala are met through the donations (dana) coming from old students. We do not charge for teaching, boarding, and lodging, and there is no other source of funding for the center than the financial support from old students. With this in mind, we ask for your help in the acquisition of our new, permanent home. We cannot make it without some help from Dhamma brothers and sisters.
This is an outreach message that encourages local and international old students to take part in spreading the Dhamma in the entire Philippines. You can help through:
1) Dana in the form of a lump sum or a loan or
2) Dana in the form of a commitment to contribute a certain amount regularly for the bi-monthly payments.
With this pure volition, when you make a donation in any amount according to your means, you are developing your parami of dana, the perfection of generosity.
Through your genuine participation, you can become the foundation in building our permanent Vipassana Center in the Philippines.
